July 3, 200718 yr Hello Gray,>>Can anyone please tell me what the AltitudeCons, Hdg_Crs and Hdg_Crs_value and SP_Turn mean please?AltitudeCons will be the low altitude when a between altitudes restriction is encounteredHdg_Crs is a 0 for a course and a 1 for a headingHdg_Crs_value is the heading or course to takeSP_Turn will be R if a right turn is required, an L for a left turn and an Auto when there is no turn direction requirement>>Why is there a hdgcrsvalue of 188 to intercept the 161 radial yet on the Jeppesen chart there is no mention of 188?Because that is how the USFIF from which the procedures are made from describes the SID. It is possible that if you had a stiff crosswind from the right by just holding the runway heading you might not intercept the 161 radial from 16L. Why 188 I do not know other than that it will insure you intercept the SEA 161 radial quickly regardless of any wind drift. RegardsTerry
