February 14, 200323 yr I have heard we will now be able to request specific runways as we approach for landing. Any idea if AI now make use of all available runways?
February 15, 200323 yr Author hi, I hope so! What I really want is spacing of the aircraft on final so we dont have 5 aircraft on final 5 ft away from each other comin in for the same runway. If Atc can do that Ill be a happy camper. I can just imagine it... " AAL 227 descend and maintain 2000ft maintain no more than 200 kts on final cleared to land runway 25R" something like that :-) Im not an expert with Air traffic control terminology but I try my best.
