Using FS2Crew and the default FS2004 ATC

Recommended Posts

Hi Bryan!I'm using the 737NG version of FS2Crew, and, despite the fact that I really prefer on-line ATC instead of the FS2004 ATC, I still use it sometimes (especially when there arent any controllers on-line in my area). I'm also flying for a virtual airline, and sometimes, when I'm about to start on a new leg, the flight number according to the schedule changes...ok, so I go into the aircraft menu and I have to input a new flight number (in order for ATC to adress my flight correctly). It appears that FS is interpreting this as selecting a new aircraft (the same as selecting the same aircraft again). And then, this also affects FS2Crew...it now thinks I'm starting at the first flight of the day, although I'm not...so my F/O runs the oxygen test again, the FA is saying..."My name is Jane Brown, I'll be your lead flight attendant today..."..and so on...although she's really supposed to say just "are you ready to brief me for the next leg?".Kind of frustrating this...you know of any workarounds? Thanks,

Hello Kyrre,Hmmmm, I never use the default ATC so it's hard to say. If the entire plane resets (in othe words essentially "re-loads") when you change flight numbers in the FS Aircraft menu there is little I can do to stop it. Best,Bryan
