Flying a big Jet

Featured Replies

I'm trying to fly the Boeing 747-400 and I miss a lot information and help.Where are the documentation about the instrumentpanel and the autopilot. I canonly find the popwindows when you place the cursor over the item. I think moreis needed.I mean for example there are very detailed documentation about the Cessnaand its instrument and how to fly it.According to the aircraft handbook I should increase power to 40% N1 and wait untilthe engines stabilizes. How do I see that?At V2 188 KIAS I am supposed to hold this speed. How? What is happening is that thespeed quickly rises far over this value. It continue far over 200 KIAS as I'm supposedto hold after takeoff and gears up. This is the case even if I'm not setting the powerto 100%.I have the impression that my Boeing is overpowered compared to reality. Could this betrue? If so how can it be rectified?
