I asked the same question over at the Flight1 forums last week, and was told that the Garmin530 in the Meridian would only work in the Meridian. While the 530 is based on what RealityXP sells, there are some differences in the code, code specifcally designed for the Meridian.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)ASRC (Advanced Simulated Radar Client) Beta Testerhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 30.82 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click Here to Download my American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!

Well, how about a real world analogy .. if your avionics shop properly installed Garmin 530 in your aircraft would it work with other aircraft ? Of course no. You would have to disconnect it and integrate with another aircraft panel. If a Garmin unit is "transferrable" then it is a stand-alone unit, sort of like a hand-held GPS unit, not the way GNS 530 (which is meant for panel integration) was designed for. So yes, there are some "transferrable" Garmin units in FS but they simply do not offer the same realistic integration with other systems.Michael J.

Yep but you know the fun thing is..this is a sim!It ain't reality dude. The guy is only asking if it's possible to put the gauge in another aircraft like e.g. the gps from the Cardinal.Unlike the latter it isn't, so buy the FSAvionics/RealityXP stack and build them anywhere you like, I use the FSAvionics GArmin 430 in Tim Conrad's great Lockheed T34 Big Dipper ;) Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif
