July 14, 200619 yr I could use some help with the pressurization system. I set the take off and landing altitudes but I don't know what else needs to be done. I always get the "auto fail" light, but no warning buzzer and as far as I can tell the cabin is being pressurized. A step-by-step run through would be much appreciated. This is a great panel. Congratulations on a remarkable achievement!Sidney Schwartz KPDX
July 14, 200619 yr Set your cruise altitute during Pre-flightSet your Land Altitude during Pre-flightafter start, check your both PACKS are ON, and change the system fo FLT.during climb, the normal cabin rate of climb is 500ft/min. Gustavo Rodrigues - Brazil
July 14, 200619 yr Author Thanks for the info. Is it permitted to take off with engine air bleed open, or should only apu air bleed be on until after take off?Sidney Schwartz KPDX
July 14, 200619 yr normal take-off is with engine bleeds on for A/C.only is you REALLY need the extra power, you use the APU bleed for A/Cbut just gives you a MTOW 3% higher than normal take-off. Gustavo Rodrigues - Brazil
