Joystick calibration.

Hello everybody .I am using a Thrustmaster Cougar Hotas coupled with a CH pro pedals. My question is ... Do I need to calibrate them with FSUIPC (registered) or with FS.If using FSUIPC is this calibration going to override my windows calibation ? or is it going to be effective only when flying with Tinmouse B737.?I join here my FSUIPC.ini.Can anybody check it and tell me what I have got to do to improve it.I already configured FSUIPC for throttle lock and trim. I am planing to use it to increment and decremant flaps.Thank you all and long live Tinmouse team; and please forgive me for my bad english.Madcop

I think calibration should be done in the HOTAS Cougar Control Panel rather than in FSUIPC or FS. This will not affect button programming done with FSUIPC. Plus, you can, if you want, create a calibration specifically for the TinMouse and save it.For my fast movers and ScareBuses I use a Cougar with an after-market CNC-machined aluminum gimbal and Hall Effect transducers in place of of the junky Guillemot pots. It rocks.Best place to go for details is http://cougar.frugalsworld.com/CheersBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

Thanks for the reply Bob That is what I am doing for the moment (manual calibration), I was just wondering. I use a factory Cougar (original worn out gimbal !) and ,living in Belgium I bought a second one and had it transformed into a COUGAR FCC for Lock-on and Falcon 4.Nice to use it to fly Airbuses, but these aren't real airplanes , are they ?:+ When I refer myself to the TinMouse II version 1.2 readme I can read "for those using hardware control levers "; does this mean "CH Throttle Quadrant" ?On a Cougar couldn't we implement arming spoilers on the first throttle detent ? and so for the reverse ?Any Idea ?Cheers Madcop

Hello Bob.You are right ... I am a little bit silly. Just mapped Buton 19 on my throttle via FSUIPC for arming spoilers . Works fine. Now I'll try your suggestion for the reverse .I just hope I won't blow up FSUIPC .I am so stupid when it comes to axes .:-cool Really appreciate your help... I ll keep you posted.Madcop
