REVERSE on THROTTLE

Recommended Posts

Guest madcop

Hello there, hello BobIs there anybody living out there willing to take me by the hand and guide me step by step how to implement my reverse on my throttle ?I use a Cougar and FSUIPC v3.7 registered. Do not ask me wether I read the User guide and the advanced User guide .The answer is YES, but it was all greek to me .The user interface is not quite clear and I do not want to mess everything. I would like to implement it just after my last detent, when throtteling backwards .I used FSUIPC to implement everything that appeared in the Tinmouse readme and everything went smooth , untill my wish to put my reverse on the throttle. Thanks to you Bob and thanks to all of you willing to help.MadcopPS.Can you add also what must be compulsory checked in the different FSUIPC applets.?

1. In FSUIPC, select the joystick calibration tab2. On the first page (Page 1 of 11) in the tab, in the lower right box marked "Throttle" the "map to 4 throttles" checkbox should be checked and you should see "Axis mapped see page 3"3. Scroll ahead to page 3 of 11, "Separate Throttles per engine" 4. In the upper left quadrant marked "Throttle1" you should see a reset button on the left with 3 Set buttons to the right. If not, press the single Set button to get there. The Rev checkbox (for reverse sense, not for thrust reverse) should *not* be checked.5. Pull the throttle all the way back to the hard stop, then push it up just a little until the values just start to change. Press the leftmost Set button in the Reverse column. This sets full reverse.6. Push the throttle up to the soft stop (the Cougar detent) and then press the middle Set button under Idle column. This sets the idle stop.7. Push the throttle all the way up, then back it off until the values just start to change. Press the rightmost Set button in the Max column. This sets the fwd limit for max power. As far as what should be chcked in the FSUIPC boxes, it's configuration-specific...there is no one-size-fits-all config.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de CHILE
