Two (very) basic questions!

I've just got into flying this great plane. When I click on the ASI I get the speed bugs set but what I have never known is what phase of flight they all refer to. I've worked out that on take-off the first is probably V1, the next is Vr but what are the others? And similarly on landing, are they flap limiting speeds and Vref for the slowest speed?My second question is: the Landing speed tables require an aircraft weight - how do I find out what the weight is? Can the flight data computer help me?ThanksDave

When you click on the ASI while on the ground the bugs will auto set to:Bug 1 - V1Bug 2 - VRBug 3 - V2Bug 4 - V2+15 (min for bank > 15 deg with less than takeoff flaps)Bug 5 - Flaps up maneuver speedWhen you click on the ASI while in the air you get:Bug 1 - VrefBug 2 - Vref + 4Bug 3 - Vref + 8 (target speed on final)Bug 4 - Vref + 15Bug 5 - Flaps up maueuver speedTo find the GW, you need to know your zero fuel wt...which is empty weight plus pax/cargo. I have a question about weight as well.What is the maximum landing weight? And how do you calculate the fuel needed for a flight? I don't really trust the default FS flightplanner with this.

Max landing weight will depend on the version...usually somewhere between 99K and 105K lbs for the -200.I use FSBuild for fuel and flight planning, and have provided fuel burn profiles for the TinMouse II for use with that program. Ha lots of work flying these ol tomato cans uh bud ha. These FMC guys like my kid who flies a Ng 700 says i'm 1/2 nuts when he sees me flying these things cause all they do is punch punch punch every thing in the FMC and go.
