TinMouse II V1.24 (beta) Update Released on 24 Dec 07

Recommended Posts

Version 1.24 (beta) Update to the TinMouse II (panel only) was released to the AVSIM file library on 24 Dec 07.There is a link to the file in the FAQ in this forum. This update requires a full install of the V1.2 panel plus both the V1.21 and V1.22 updates. Can be installed over the V1.23A update, but 1.23A is not needed.Changes in V1.24(beta)1. Now supports the CIVA INS version 1.5 and later. Users of the CIVA INS must upgrade to V1.5 or later for the integrated CIVA functionality to work. (http://simufly.com/ins/) CIVA V1.40 and earlier will no longer work with the panel after this gauge update.2. RMI DME recoded for smooth operation.3. FSUIPC offset control for Yaw Damper switch. Programming a button or key to set FSUIPC offset 6D11 to value 4 will result in toggling the Yaw Damper switch. Provided by request for easier sim management of X-wind landings.4. Autobrakes recoded. The ".>" key is now hard coded for wheel brakes. User may also use FS or FSUIPC-assigned axes. Still perhaps a bit flaky, but better than before.5. Various mods to ground spoiler performance. Should work OK in external view now, but not tested enough to know for sure. Eliminated some of the odd aileron/spoiler movements during ground operations.========================================================Version 1.23 Update to the TinMouse II (panel only) was released to the AVSIM file library on 8 Dec 06.This update requires a full install of the V1.2 panel plus both the V1.21 and V1.22 updates.Changes in V1.23Corrects a bug in the engine start sequence that can cause engine instrumentation hangs after starting engines with temps not in the range of 8-22 deg C.Note: I accidentally uploaded file tinmouse2_b732_v1_23.zip without the updates to the #2 N1 and N2 gauges...the hazards of having my stuff spread across three PCs while I build a new FS machine. Hopefully I got it deleted before it gets to the Avsim library...if not, make sure you use the "1.23A" version. The link here is to the corrected file.=======================================================Version 1.22 Update to the TinMouse II (panel only) was released on 27 Oct 06.This update requires a full install of the V1.2 panel. Installation of V1.21 update recommended.Changes in V1.221. FDE modification for yaw/slip performance2. Corrected V1.2 readme file with errata on use of Prop axis for spoiler control corrected.=======================================================Version 1.21 Update to the TinMouse II (panel only) was released on 14 Oct 06.This update requires a full install of the V1.2 panel.Changes in V1.211. Hotkey and main panel clickspots for flap control.2. Spoiler hotkey support.3. TCAS II integration with Lee Hetherington's TCAS-II gauge4. Minor sound.cfg fix.=======================================================Version 1.2 of the TinMouse II was released on 7 Oct 06.V1.2 will not require a previous version of panel or any of the earlier patches. I have, however, separated the models/textures from the panel/FDE/sounds...the models are unchanged from V1.0, and therefore all the repaints will still work fine.If you already have a previous version of the TinMouse II just unpack the zip file over the existing installation--AFTER you make a copy of your aircraft.cfg file to save the flightsim.x sections for all your repaints. Transfer that part of the aircraft.cfg (all the fltsim.x sections) and you should be good to go.=======================================================If you are not using a previous version, you will also need to download the model files. The FAQ in this forum has quick links to the files. As always, constructive critique and bug reports to the forum or the support e-mail.EnjoyBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile
