FSX not responding

Featured Replies

Well, thanks buddy! I have to say that I'm ready to go again! Now reinstalling once again cause I intalled to the wrong drive!

Exactly. I had met the same bug for over three times. Removing that crash-trigger logbook.bin is the first thing you could try on this bug before glaring at a reinstallation which substantially kills your precious gaming time.I'm afraid this is a common problem and MS FSX got to fix it! So far so many defects...bugs...and even umcompleted knobs and buttons in VC! Those controls used to work in fs9 virtual cockpit. How could fsx get released. The offical website is so clean. No single answer left there.http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulatorx/default.htmThey got to finish or fix it after earning $$$ from us.>I've had this problem too but I've found the solution! Turns>out my flight log file was corrupted. The file is located in>your "My DocumentsFlight Simulator X Files" folder. This is>where your saved flights get saved too. The log file is named>logbook.bin. To solve the problem of hanging, just rename that>file to a new name (like logbook1.bin) and then restart FSX.>No more hanging!

I guess I will rely on FS Flight Keeper when it gets updated to support FSX rather than rely on FSX to keep track of my flights.Do you know what causes this file to go bunkers? I also took the time to install some FSG DVDs for FSX

I have the same problem and none of these suggestions work. I have done everything it seems, clean re-install, update drivers, lower settings, rename/remove certain files...etc and nothing! As soon as the white box on the screen says "loading complete! 100%" It just hangs and CPU reads at 100%. Can we get our money back?
