FS9 Video Problem

Featured Replies

HiI run FS9 on a single machineAntec /neo 550w PSUP4/3.02 Gigs Corsair34G Raptor HDRadeon 1900xt crossfire/single card/Cat6.9The problem is that when I go from full screen to windowed to start AS6 and then back to full screen the hourglass just blinks and FS9 freezes to the point that I have to close via taskmanager.I have tried reinstalling vid drivers but this happened as well with my previous vidcard as well.DXDIAG also shows no faults. Can anyone shed light on this problems as otherwise FS9 is running great. Thanks Pete

Hey Pete, hmm do you have any other programs/services running in the background when doing this?. Also you can check with a program called filemon to see where it (maybe) is hanging when switching back and forth.

I agree with Greg, sounds like an ati driver issue. I have had recent problems switching from 2d/3d with dual monitors and know the recent drivers have taken a few steps back in some areas. Try Guru3d or Rage3d driver forums for some more info. Good luck.Regards, KendallDell 8400 3.2 GHZ H.T.800 FSB/2MB L22 GB 533 DDR2X800XT 256MB/Cat.5.13's6x Adaptive AA/16x HQ A/FIntegrated SoundDual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905CH Yoke/Pedals
