October 21, 200619 yr How nice. I just discovered the creation of this forum and I'm with you. I'll be sticking with FS9 for quite some time to come. It looks great on my system and the leap to Vista/FSX/New System may never, ever happen. Now to my question: There used to be a sticky in the forums that listed tweaks for the FS9.config file and I'll be darned if I can find where it's gone. Any clues? Also, my decision to invest quite substantially in FS9 poses another question: What would be the recommended add-ons for FS9? I have the PMDG 747-400 and will be buying all their other aircraft but I'm referring more to navigation aids and weather generators compatible with PMDG aircraft. Active Camera, I'm advised, is a 'must have', so is there anything else I should'nt live without?Jon S.

October 21, 200619 yr Author Thank you, Jim. That's the file I was seeking. I will be buying ASv6 directly after buying the PMDG 737's and 400F. I have also bookmarked the other links which look very interesting. Again, thank you and feel free to contact me if anything else springs to mind.Jon S.
October 21, 200619 yr Hi Jon,Since you already have the PMDG 747, check out FS2 Crew:http://www.fs2crew.com/It brings a new level of realism to flying the Queen.
October 21, 200619 yr Author Don,That is absolutely wonderful. I've downloaded and played all the tutorial videos and it's going on my 'must have' list. All this will keep me poor but at the end of the day, programs like this give FS9 a completely new lease on life. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely be buying this one for the PMDG 737NG which I'm buying this coming week. The 747 version, very soon after.Jon S.

There are other flight planners out there, some more complicated than others, but FS Nav is the one I would not want to be without.AT
October 22, 200619 yr Author AT,I could'nt agree more. I downloaded the latest version with a 20 session limit but I will not get to use all of them before I buy this. I never realised the incredible depth to which these programs have gone. Talk about,'immersive'. Roll on Tuesday (payday). Thank you.Jon S.
October 22, 200619 yr Ultimate Terrain. Particularly the great 3D lights which were created gives a depth to cities. The landclass is also a must.
