Is it possible to choose the runway of the destination airport using the fs9 flight planner? At times the runway designated by the program is not the most practicable.Richard

Hi,You can almost guaranteee your landing runway by this method! (AFAIK it is the wind that makes atc choose your runway)1.go to advanced weather.2.set and/or add the wind layer at the ground level of your airport to the opposite to the runway you want- i.e set wind to 180/o if you want to land on 360/o etc and you should then find atc directing you to the one you want.by the way, if you arrive over the airport with atc directing you to a runway you don't want and you haven't already set the wind direction, try this- cancel your flight plan with atc then go to advanced weather and etc etc- then go back to atc and request a landing and you should be directed to your desired runway.hope this helps a bit.Andy.
