iFly 747 - How do I delete a flightplan from the FMC?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,Apparently I am destined to choose aircraft that give me headaches. When attempting to load a new flight plan into the FMC, the old ones are still there. I want to delete the old ones so my FMC is blank when I want to enter a route. How do I do that? Because the originals are still in there, I cannot get the FMC to work correctly. I can load my position, start and stop airports and then the new route but the extra waypoints on the previous route stored is still in there (because the older trip had more waypoints stored). I press the delete button and the appropriate FSK to show them as deleted with a route discontinuity, but for whatever reason, the aircraft is still using that data for fuel consumption purposes and I get an Insufficient Fuel message. Any ideas on how to delete the old flight plans? I found a folder called FLTPLN under my Fltsim9iFly747-400navdata folder and deleted the contents and restarted FS but the flight plans are stil in there. I read the manual but that isn't addressed. I have SP1&2 installed. Thanks,Eric

Sorry I was too quick on posting. Here's the answer for posterity. By changing the origin to another airport and back to the original, the saved route will be deleted.
