Complete Uninstall of FS9

I am having some severe trouble with FS9. None of the sliders in my settings menus work. Also, in 'display options' there are no tabs for 'aircraft' 'weather' 'hardware'. I have all my loved add ons backed up to DVDs so I am not afraid to uninstall. However, even after what I thought was a complete uninstall, i.e. removed app. data from user settings and then used the uninstaller on the disk and then double checking, the problem persists after I reinstall. Has anybody seen this and what am I missing in my uninstall?Zenbyte

Hi ZB; Did you do a registry clean and a reboot after the uninstall? Also cleaning up any temp files in the Windows/Temp folder. These two processes are usually pretty important. If the results were the same after the first reinstall - you can almost be dead sure there's something left behind in the registry.http://www.zoneutils.com/regheal/index.htmI think they have a trial version that is fully functional.
