February 7, 200719 yr How do i turn off the talking copilot that alerts me to glideslope, to low, pull up etc. Many thanks to whoever can help
February 7, 200719 yr That's not a copilot that's "B*tchin Betty" the GWPS. It is an aural warning systems built into most modern airliners. Some panels have a GWPS override that will turn it off.HTH....
February 7, 200719 yr how these callouts are disables depends on the aircraft you are flying. which aircraft are you flying?-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
February 7, 200719 yr You can keep her quiet like any other "B*tchin Betty",.... by "flying" the perfect approach. Just remember to pull up and "get out" if she tells you to.:D John M
February 7, 200719 yr Many of my aircraft have this nasty female aboard. The latest one is the projest fokker f28 mk.6000. Thanks for your help!!
February 7, 200719 yr I find those voice alerts higly annoying to and have used Audacity (free audio editor) to chop them all down to 0.5 second duration each and then reduced volume by 100%.Peaceful flying now :) Any alerts I get show up on the panel anyway or on FS9s default messages (overspeed etc).
