Lago's FS Maintenance

Featured Replies

I was just wondering if this product is compatable with add-on aircraft such as PSS or Wilco? It looks like it will add a new edge to flying, but I want to know if it will simulate failures without a problem on these add on aircraft. Thanks for any info.Phil

Hello sir,The answer is that it depends on the failure. There is a very nice passage in the FSMaintenance manual that explains all about this kind of thing. In brief, really obvious things like engine failures which are pretty easy to simulate should work on any aircraft. Some of the other things are harder to notice, and, as the Lago manual states, sometimes a pilots only knowledge of the problem is in fact a light on in the cockpit, which FSMaintenance provides through the system information interface. Overall the addon is well worth it and I find it to work well with my entire aircraft collection.Cheers,Marchttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I found it a little sensitive for lighter aircraft. It seems to be developed for heavier aircraft since the g-load triggers go off regularly in turbulence. I edited the config file to allow my cessna's to tracel through turbulence without penalties. Also I turned off the throttle-may-not-be-100% penalty, since piston engines use manifold pressure instead of throttle setting to determine engine load. With these changes to the config file I find it very usefull for all aircraft I use. I've always wanted this kind of add on and it makes flying more interesting.

yes, i too recomend this add on - i too disabled turb. and gforce and modified the bank angles - to allow for bush type flying, when sometimes you have to drop fairly steeply as well as climb out steep as wellhowever, i was not able to get the pss aircraft to come up in the aircraft list, how did you do it?ciao!Brian S

Ciao!

The PSS just were there for me...Didn't really do anything. Now that I check though the A320 is not in the list, but the 747 and DeHavilland Dash 8 did show up. I'll have to see about why the 320 isn't there... Cheers,Marc http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
