Runtime Error

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I recently had to restore my C drive and now I'm getting an MS C++ Runtime Library Error Message intermitently while in FS9. It reads:Runtime ErrorR6025pure virtual function callany ideas?

You ae probably missing some C+ runtime libraries for some program. Not sure if they are in the AVSIM library, but you can get them from Flightsim.com. Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like -M.Twain

I suddenly have started getting this error intermittently too. I installed some scenery from Freeflow.com - could this be the problem? Anyone any leads here? Thanks,Martin

For some reason, the reply didn't show up until I posted my comment. Odd that I ran FS9 without this error for three years and today I get the problem. Did youi install the 'missing runtime' files? Can you say what they are exactly? Meanwhile I'll search on flightsim, but as I say, a bit odd, if I have files missing, that the problem only just started up now. Thanks again.

I have reinstalled all the runtime libraries and continue to get this error intermittantly. I have had FS9 installed on my D drive for years and had never got this error before. Having to restore my C Drive obviously has something to do with it and it's very frustrating when it happens in the middle of a flight. Martin, sorry to hear you are now getting this error also.Jim

First time ever yesterday: never seen this error before in 5 years of using Flight Simulator. I'd installed some new scenery the day before so if the problem reoccurs I'll try disabling it and see if that stops it. Could be one of these oddities that only happens once every few months!M. :-)
