March 4, 200323 yr Just curious, but does anyone know if there are any 737-400s on regularly scheduled routes between any California cities and Hawaii? I thought about flying the Dreamfleet 737 to Honolulu for some over ocean practice and wondered if the real thing ever does it or is out of its range. Also, doees the A320 ever get used to Honolulu and how does its range compare to a 737-400? Thanks. :-)
March 4, 200323 yr Aloha flies a B-737-700 from PHNL to both Ontario (KONT), Burbank (KBUR), Oakland (KOAK), John Wayne (KSNA), Vancouver (CYVR), and Las Vegas (KLAS) daily.I do not know of any A320's flying from the mainland to Hawaii. I do know that some 320's fly from Europe to the US.Hope this will help.John JetLine Systems Gravity GT2-Windows 10 Home Edition (64-Bit), NZXT H500 Mid-Tower, Black, Gigabyte Aorus Z390 PRO WIFI, LGA 1151, Intel 9th Gen Core i9 9900K (5.0GHz Turbo) 8 Core / 16 Thread, Corsair Hydro H60 120mm Liquid Cooling, 32GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz RGB, 12GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, GDDR6, 750 Watt Corsair RM Series Power Supply, 5.1 Channel Realtek Integrated HD Audio, Primary SSD Drive:1TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD), Secondary SSD Drive:2TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD) 4TB WD Black 7200 RPM Mechanical , SimOn Solutions 737 Professional Compact Trainer (MIP, OH). March 4, 200323 yr I didn't know A320s were ETOPS qualified?Which airlines use them trans Atlantic (just so I can avoid being locked in a narrow-body for 7+ hours :-)).There were plans to use 737-700 trans Atlantic as well, those were shelved in favour of 757s and A330s.
March 4, 200323 yr I know that the Daimler-Benz company has an A319 which flies non-stop from Germany to the USA and back. It's a special A319 version with an extended range, something like the BBJ I guess.Jasper :-wavehttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
March 4, 200323 yr That would be the A319 Corporate Jetliner :-) . And you're right, it is indeed meant as an equivalent to the BBJ.I hope PA might do one of these along with their upcoming "regular" 319s! :D
March 4, 200323 yr Businessjets aren't subject to ETOPS regulations (though many operators probably do adopt them volluntarilly) and don't normally feature 100+ seats crammed into the interior :-wave
November 16, 200322 yr helloi wonder how you get the infos biz is not on etops rules ???the acj or 319 biz is 120' etops ok and i dont know why they sell it with this program is not needed....when you transport pax even biz you supply a plan to atc with rules from aircraft type...no most of biz are not etps for two reasons one is the cost and hours needed to maintain it and second flying beyond the etops rules ??!!!truly yoursphil
