"JUMPING AIRCRAFT"

Recommended Posts

Guest CESAR

I have noticed recently that everytime I switch views, either by the hat switch, or the "s" key on the keyboard, that the aircraft begins jumping. This occurs on the runway of course. I recently installed a nvidia graphics card and it has worked perfectly until now, any ideas??Larry ComerDear Friends from this forum, nice to join this team! Can anybody help me to solve the problem described by our friend Lerry? Many thanks.Cesar.gomes@embraer.com.br

Yeah I've experienced the old "Pimp My Ride" bouncing planes before too. Sometimes it's like a freakin Kris-Kros video. I think we all have seen it. It's a strange old phenomenon. Don't quite know what causes it to be honest.

Have you started using a new aircraft? Jumping can occur if the aircraft flight dynamics are not what they should be (which you can fix by increasing the moments of inertia values in the aircraft.cfg file - take a backup first, though!). If it's with all of your planes though, even ones that were OK before, then it's unlikely to be this.;)
