April 16, 200719 yr Hi there,And..did you get that new update of that great 'steel and wire' russian bird, The Tupolev 154B2 v9.6 from Project Tupolev? Wonder where to fly this beast to in Russia? No need to search any further cause next to some great freeware airports we have a nice new Russian (payware) airport to fly to: KHRABROVO AIRPORT (UMKK)Where to get it? Until now only at simmarket. There's it's advertised as a FSX scenery. However I emailed the author asking whether they plan to publish a FS2004 compatible version and this is what he replied to me: Hello, sir! Thanks you, we have released our scenery at 05 of March for Russian users and now decided to release it for the whole world :)I would like to tell you one secret... this scenery was designed for FSX but it is also FS9 compatible. This version works very fine in it, without any problems, but in FS9 there aren't some features which are in the original FSX version. For example, if you'll install this version in FS9, you won't be able to see birds, some cars, static peoples e.t.c. But all other features (including marshallers, animated ladders, emergency situations etc) will work. Have a nice flights!Yep nice features in the scenery like AFFF foaming of the runway for those belly landing, emerging emergency vehicles, air stairs (especially fitting to the Tu-154)http://secure.simmarket.com/online/khrabro...reen_3a_big.jpgBTW I'm not affiliated to these guys or simmarket, only enthusiastic about finding new stuff :)All the best,Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://fool.exler.ru/sm/fly2.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. April 17, 200719 yr Author Hi Ed,How are you! The reason why I posted this is the fact that, according to the author of the scenery, it is compatible with FS9, although the typical FSX features are not avialable in FS9. April 17, 200719 yr Thankyou for the heads up Rob. :)I'll wait and see if anybody buys it and posts some screenies.... I am very wary of any developers who produce FSX only products.Right now I am way too busy with SXM :-sun1 regardsEdaka Capt.
