Memory leak in Moscow?

Featured Replies

I've been trying to set up some flights in and out of UUEE recently, and I've found that my memory usage jumps to staggering levels even while using only default scenery. This causes FS to shut down with the message that I'm out of memory (I'm using 2gb of RAM), leaving me a bit frustrated (not fun doing LAX-SVO & then crashing while on approach - that's 11-12 hours out of the window)As a comparison, cloud9's LAX with the Blue Sky high resolution ground textures and moderate traffic only uses up 315mb of memoery. default UUEE with low traffic uses up 712mb.I have no landclass or mesh files installed that should cover that area, so I'm kinda baffled at the moment as to what could be causing it.A few comparison images:FlyTampa's SXM with low traffic (GA jets + boats primarily) - 264mb RAM usedhttp://img263.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sxmms4.jpgcloud9's LAX with moderate traffic - 315mb RAM usedhttp://img263.imageshack.us/my.php?image=laxtq2.jpgDefault SVO with low traffic (Aeroflot & Aeroflot-Plus only) - 712mb RAM usedhttp://img263.imageshack.us/my.php?image=svodefaultbl1.jpgSSW's SVO with the same traffic - 772mb RAM usedhttp://img263.imageshack.us/my.php?image=svoqn4.jpg

Kaspar,I have Gary V.'s Fs2002 UUEE installed (which works very well in FS9), FSG mesh and AI at 100% (all available RATS-packages, WOAI-packages plus many MRAI installed) and do not have any problem with FPS at 19 and no stutters. I have 1Gig RAM installed.Peter
