FS Native Resolution?

Recommended Posts

After running out of idea's as to why the top of my plane's get these fine zig-zags, one more thought came up. I run at 1280x1024, is that a bad resolution for FS? Should I run at 1280x900? If I could just get the models to look smooth... Any advice on AA and AF?

Jaggies are a function of how computers draw lines, turn up the AA and AF to max to reduce this effect.Best and Warm RegardsAdrin Wainer

From my limited experience with graphics cards your resolution depends on the capabilties of your graphics card and moitor. I run my FS9 and FSX at 1920x1200x32. Others may correct me if i am worng. You may also need to experiment with shutting the AA off in the game and allowing the graphics driver to perform this task. It can be frustrating trying to turn them on and off but once you find out what works with the type of video card you are using then the jaggies should disapear. I use a NVIDIA 7800 GTX and I have AA turned off in the game and AA is asigned to the graphics card. Hope this helps.
