Help with 'null' option on joystick settings

HiCould someone please tell me what does the 'null zone' option on the joystick settings means in fs 2004.Could you please suggest the best value for it-I have the ch product fighterstick usb.Many thanks Qas

Hi,What that setting does is that it creates a "dead" area starting in the center of the axis that you are looking at. Some controllers are very sensitive and they need this area, so that a little twitch does not send things out of control.I suggest that you start with none and if you find things too sensitive, then start increasing.
