Kneeboard issue

Featured Replies

Hi,When I bring up the kneeboard during a flight the panel in the background goes black, although the scenery out the window remains. This has only just started the last couple of weeks and is on all aircraft and panels. Default and addon. Have I knackered something and what can I do to get it back to normal?

Wow, sounds scary . . . I've not heard this one before but for any anomalies in FS9 I delete my fs9.cfg and see if that fixes it. It only takes a few minutes to reset the sim after FS9 builds the new fs9.cfg file. The fs9.cfg is a hidden file located here:C:Documents and SettingsYouApplication DataMicrosoftFS9FS9.CFG

I have that same problem when I have anti ailiasing turned up to 8x in the nvidia control panel. I think it's related to the problems we see all over the forum about "I can't see my rotating aircraft in the create a flight screen"Try turning AA down if you're using it. Mine works normally if I set AA to 4x (although the screen flickers a lot in the menus and FSNav takes a week to populate the screen with airports, navaids, etc., also a known issue with nvidia drivers). Also, I heard there's a new nvidia display driver available as of about a week ago. I haven't downloaded it yet myself, but hopefully it fixes these issues.Jim

Ah, I have an Nvidea card, 8xAA and the new driver. I'll try turning it down to 4x and see what happens.Unfortunately at the moment FS is totally knackered due to another issue which I've posted about this morning. Once/if up and running I'll try this. Thanks
