OK..Installed the package and now, I am running into some issue.I tried deselecting all my addons to figure out what was messing this up and yet the problem didn't go away. Any addon mesh in the scenery folder? I know that FS Genesis mesh will install into the scenery folder somewhere. And did you install the Compatibility Vertex 19 - 21 for Courchevel patch and did change TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL from 19 to 21? Thanks Rob.I have not installed those patches you mention since I downloaded this scenery package only today. The thing is.. I installed the scenery on my old PC and it looks good there. So even though that patch may be useful. I suspect the problem is with a mesh that I have.I may have installed the alps/Italian mesh (freewares) during the last 6 months or so. The problem with the mesh is..its not like an add on scenery that I could remove from the scenery.cfg. The bgls are probably embeded somehwere within the default scenery foldersWould you have an idea which FS9/scenery/world???? type directories I should look for to find the offending bgls?MannyPS: I did copy and install it FSX along with the FSX PAtch. It looks reasoonabl in FSX. Its the FS9 that is giving me grief.

well it shouldnt look reasonable good it should look perfect. And the freeware meshes for alps/italy are definitely the culprit.I don't have them...however first of all did they come with an uninstaller, no? Redownload them and install them in a dummy directory and look at the folder structure they create. E.g. There is a patch for VFR France AlpesNord that might fix that up because I remember having problems when I did my first temporary install of FS9 while waiting for a new hard drive.I've misplaced my patch for that so I haven't re installed those airports as a result. If you find a link to the patch would you mind letting us know as I've had no luck getting it from them.

OK This is what I did.I insalled the scenery on my old PC that has FS9 and it looks good there. So its not the scenery. Its my FS9 on my current PC.Then I took a back up of FS9/scenery/ directory and renamed all the sub folders.. NAME, NAMC, WORd, ASIA, AFRICA, EURE, EURW.... as NAMEBAK, NAMCBAK, WORLDBAK, ASIABAK...etcI then copied all thise directory NAME, NAMC, ASIA from the old PC over .I then started FS9 and I still had the mesh problem.OK.. I then restored everything.I went to ADDonsceneryscenery and deleted everything from there (after I took a backup) and started FS9. The problem still exists.These are the only two places I could think of that a mesh could exist. Hmmmm... I ofcourse had tried after removing all scenery addons earpier as well.Manny

I have the the patch for the VFR France AlpesNord. I did not install it since I don't have the VFR france alpesnord. Should I try installing that?BTW..IS that scenery FSX compatiable? I was thinking of getting it...but it did not say anthing about FSX. ITs only for FS9. But at the same time I saw the autogen for the alps north for FS9 and FSX. I didn't get that.Manny
