White bloks when flying high on fs 2004

Featured Replies

hi,i have flight simulator 2004 with high spec computer and when i fly high example (30000) on fs 2004 i see like white blocks as i get lower they go do any of you guys know what to to? thanks rjs.

Could be something called 'texture tearing', although they usually look like blueish/white lines in the distance between texture tiles. It means that your Texture settings in your fs9.cfg file need to be tweaked or reset. You may also be able to control it from the Hardware/Graphics section within FS9. Do a search on 'Texture Tearing' or 'Texture Settings' and you should find many threads on the subject.Hope this helpsJohn M

ok thank you very much.

i have tryed texture tearing on forms and that nothing also i have changed a few things in fs9 hardware and graphics still no change anymore tips thanks .

It sounds like you are seeing not texture tearing but perhaps autogen (like trees) popping into view but do not have their textures applied. Could that be the case? Do any of these "blocks of white" actually form an "X" if you were to fly directly over them? That would be a tree probably. Do they pop into view and then disappear?
