Source of Error message?

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me determine the source of this error message?I see it when loading an aircraft with a couple of addon panels. Note that is does not refer to a specific missing file nor is it the message you see if FSSound is not installed. The panels in question are recent uploads to the library and are apparently based on older sim versions but there are nosound files involved. I am guess that one or more of the gauges must be referencing a non-existant wav file - but that is only a guess.A screenshot of the error message is attached.Any thoughts?

These were fresh downloads - no copying involved.

The most recent one that is problematic for me is:ai_beechjet_400a.zip - from avsim.Another is a panel which can be used on the Citation II.It is available here:http://www.fsdownload.com/modules.php?name...04_Lear35_PanelBoth generate the same error message when loading the aircraft. When the panel is alaised to the default lear, there is no problem.

If there is no problem when aliased to the default Lear, the sound file (whatever it may be) probably does exist in the Lear 'sound' file. Try aliasing the other planes you use this panel with, to the Lear 'sound' file, and see if the trouble disappears. If it does, then you have narrowed the search.Cheers,Bob
