After Korean Independence from Japan in 1945, the American air force used it and commercial airplanes were allowed to land at the airport. From 1954, the Korean government was partly allowed to use this airport. Gimpo airport was renamed Gimpo International Airport by Presidential Order in 1958 and its full-scale upgrade into an international airport was completed in 1971. Thanks, I have d/led Kim Seong-Su's scenery and will check it out. I have been flying Incheon - Jeju some lately and added the new RNAV waypoints for it into FS9 so I could use the SIDs/STARs in the LVLD767 w/ Asiana livery. This will give me some other places to check out. I have the nice Incheon - Winged City scenery but I am surprised I can't find any Jeju Island scenery for FS (besides AFCAD). Now I can compare RKSI with SBS - Air City TV drama :)scott s..
