September 9, 200718 yr The title says it all really just wondering if i buy like a external hard drive and place all the fs files on that will it speed it up atall ?
September 9, 200718 yr If SATA, yes, only if you right now run FS from the same drive as Windows, and no if you right now use a separate internal drive. If USB or Firewire, no, it would make it slower.
September 9, 200718 yr Hi,By "speed it up" if you mean loading time, maybe. If you mean better FPS, no.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

If he has Win and FS on the same WD raptor drive he already has it as fast as possible.
September 9, 200718 yr Ah i was trying to get better fps really so il go back to the drawing bored but thanks for all of ya responces :)
September 10, 200718 yr Hi,No need to go back to the drawing board, we know that #1 is the CPU and #2 is the video card.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
