Hey guys,So i decided i am tired of all the regular airports and traffic so i want to make my own airport. i did so (or tried) using AFCAD editor by Lee Swordy and everything went ok ... but then a got into FS9 and went to the airport and there are trees and numerous houses and things in the middle of runways, taxiways, etc. How can i make it so there is just plain grass or at least land w/ out buildings on it at my airport??any help appreciated!!THANKS ,MATT

You can get rid of the trees/buildings using an exclusion file for all objects, see excbuilder2. Better is to do it like MS did it: create a flatten and an airport boundary for it. I recommend sbuilder for this, and I put a tutorial for it in the library. It's geared to modifying an existing airport, but works for a new airport as well.scott s..
