November 20, 200718 yr I recently installed FS2004 and every time I load an aircraft the trim goes wild. It goes completely down and won't budge. This happens for all aircraft. Also, the autopilot doesn't seem to work. This is on a newly installed game and I haven't added any add-ons yet.It really irks me, andyone have any solutions?
November 20, 200718 yr That sounds like you are possibly loading a flight situation with the autopilot engaged. Assuming you haven`t altered your keybinds try pressing the Z key once the situation has loaded and then see if you can use the trim keys to wind the trim back to neutral.Hope this helpsJames
November 20, 200718 yr I had the same problem and it turned out to be an assigned joystick key. Go into your assignments and look for auto pilot and trim assignments and make sure no joystick buttons are wrongly assigned by default.
November 21, 200718 yr Yes, those are both potential issues and worth looking at.The FS autopilot uses trim to control pitch which many real autopilots do not use.Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
