January 12, 200818 yr I know this has been addressed before, but for whatever reason, I cannot seem to search the right keywords to find the answer here. My heading in FS9 is jacked up to the nth degree. Currently, I am flying at a hdg of 160, however my hdg indicator reads 041. Thats not a magnetic variation. That is an error in my FS. Im sure once I restart my FS, this problem will disappear. Ive seen it before. But is there any way to fix this? Any way to do it while it is running? After setting up a flight and firing up the active sky, squawkbox, flightplan this and that... It takes 20 minutes to quit and start over. Seems like there should be a fix to this to avoid this inconvenience.
January 12, 200818 yr Maybe your heading indicator in your plane is crazy? (I can't find a better way to say it) There is a keystroke for resetting the heading indicator. Check for "Heading indicator (restablish)". Well, I think it's that one, I have FS in Spanish so I don't know exactly. The default keystroke for this command is D. Try it and see if it cures the problem.Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11.
