January 22, 200818 yr I just took a turbo-prop from Detroit, to Chicago's Midway runway 31C. It was snowing quite heavily on the approach and I had a couple of side and down drafts that took hold of the aircraft about 900 feet above the runway threshold. Made for a challenging landing on top of low visibility. Another fine FS9 'moment'! :)Chicago is having some weather today, that's for sure!
January 23, 200818 yr Author >Take any pix of this flight?>KJ-----------------------Uh no...but I did record it so I could enjoy it whenever. :)Using a turbo-prop made all the difference on this flight. As P.I.C., I just felt more connected by hearing the rise and fall of the prop pitch as I rode the winds down to the numbers. A great flight, all in all!P.S. Using a good 'Connie' for multi-turbo is another great experience with FS9.Mitch
