Problem with MKJS by Bill Melichar

Featured Replies

Hoping someone can help me. I have had the excellent scenery MKJS by Bill Melichar for a while now, and last night I flew from MKJP on my way to MKJS and got about twenty minutes into fligh and got a OOM error. Never had this before. Fired back up and left task manager on to view memory usage and bingo - PF going up and physical memory lowering fast. Have 2GB. Fired up File monitor and I had one after another error all linked to addon scenery/montego bay. It had file errors every few seconds all pointing to this scenery. It was calling for files like Texture.CAB which aren't even in this scenery. I even downloaded the file again thinking maybe something got deleted but all files were the same.Hope someone can point me in the right direction.Thank-You,Ted

I would troubleshoot this by checking for the obvious first -Possible duplicate afcad for MKJS ? (Use scanafd.zip from the library here to search for duplicates)Possible duplicate installation ? (there is a Caribwings Designs version out which you might have experimented with)I have had Bill's excellent Montego Bay installed for several years and not experienced what you describe.Good luck.
