Bumpy Taxiways/Apron

Featured Replies

HiI'm having this problem with a few airports, default and add-ons. When i'm taxing the aircraft starts jumping, just as if i was going through rocks. I've checked the altitude reading in map view, and using the slew mode i realize that there are sudden altitude changes within thos aprons, and altitude differences between taxiways and runways. I've tried flattening the area using a small program made by Steve Greenwood, but i get no good results. There are still small altitude changes. Is there anyway to fix this. Thanks in adavnceHenrique

Search the library for aprnfix9.zip by Page Cline to see if your airport is included.

When i get taxed,i jump too. Steve Taxiing=rolling to runway. Taxing=creative way of ripping you off. Couldn't help it!:-lol

You can get rid of the bumpy/dirty taxiways/aprons etc if you create a surface-hardening polygon over the area. Try this site:http://www.airportforwindows.com/Then you have to work at it and learn how to do some design, easy once you get on to it but it just takes a bit of perseverance. In Airport, establish a new scenery, with its own scenery and texture folders. I call mine ****hard, then set up all the parameters and directory paths, particularly the compiling path. I have attached (I hope - I

Thank you very much! I'll try thisHenrique
