G Meter CLOCK TACHOMETERThese digital instruments dont work!Can anybody HELP!

Mine works properly but a good friend tells me that his digital gauges do not work on his Extra 300 either (like the original poster) so I am hoping someone has found a solution.Seems strange they should work on some setups but not others.This is the default Extra which has not been modified in any way.
