April 4, 200818 yr I found a scenery for Bejaia airport (DAAE). When I went to install it I got a out of memory error. What could be causing this? I have plenty of hard drive space (FS9 is on it's own seperate drive and that drive is more than 50% empty). And after I deleted the DAAE scenery I installed two other sceneries with no problems.
April 4, 200818 yr Funny, I discussed this yesterday in this thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...&topic_id=41897When you add new scenery, MSFS updates a file in that scenery's folder called scenery.dat.Bad or corrupt scenery can cause an OOM during the building of this file and MSFS won't load. The only solution is to remove the scenery and contact the author of the scenery to see if he/she can look at their project and come up with a fix.Regards,John
April 4, 200818 yr Author Thanks. Maybe I will contact the author. The scenery looked pretty decent from the screenshots.
