May 2, 200818 yr Can anyone help me restore all my lost default AI traffic...After trying to install Traffic with Ultimate Traffic, without success i might add ...it seems i have a corrupt copy of U.T. ....And after uninstalling U.T. and running fs2004 all my traffic had disappeared. I've replaced the traffic030528.bgl file, with the one off my fs2004 #4 disk, but with no luck still no traffic. Is there anything else i must restore, its just not the same without traffic. any help with this problem would be much appreciated. Best regards Peter
May 3, 200818 yr Check the obvious first:Is the default traffic file you restored in your Scenery/World/scenery subfolder? Is the World folder "active" in your scenery library? It is normally the first or second entry and thus would appear at or near the bottom of the library list. Are the default aircraft still in your aircraft folder?Do you have Airline and GA traffic enabled? (and the slider set reasonably high)Sometimes the obvious possibilities are the hardest to spot.Hope this helps.
May 4, 200818 yr Thank you David, the obvious is always the last thing you think off, and that is what I have done. While on one off my slim down sessions to make the sim. boot up quicker I did take out nearly all my default aircraft as i only fly my favourite aircraft ....and since then i have been brushing up on my aircraft control and not noticed the absence of AI traffic. they have been replaced and sure enough all is well again...so a big thankyou :) Best regards Peter.
