FS9 crash clicking help or kneeboard

Recommended Posts

Guest DonWare

Hi,I'm new here so forgive me if you've seen this one before.I'm having a problem with FS9 crashing (closing down) when I click the Help (learning center) or scroll bar in the kneeboard. I've reinstalled the program and did the 9.1 update. I'm using a Dell Dimension 2400, Win XP pro, 1 GB RAM, McAfee AV.I have ordered a GeForce 6200 video card and have a more recent Soundblaster card I'm going to install.I was wondering if anybody has any constructive ideas. Thanks, Don Ware

First thing I would try would be disabling the AV prior to running FS2004 and see if it helps. Are you using XP or Vista?

Thanks for replying...Running xp pro. I'll try the AV.I also read on here to cleanr the registry before re-installing. I'll try that too.Thanks.
