Is there a way to adjust the range at which you can pick up ATIS? Some airports you can pick up ATIS over 70 miles out, but others are only 25 miles out which makes for difficult approaches to the right runway. Is there anyway to adjust the range at some airports, like ESSA and BIKF? Thanks

Nope, this is definitely a major issue in FS, I usually get them around 60NM, but it does decrease causing nice, last minute surprises:-8. It's especially more annoying when your destination airport has multiple runways with close courses (08-26, 10-28) and if you're flying with charts. I absolutely HATE it!!!I have no idea what defines the range because it varies everytime. Unfortunately there is no way of extenting it...:-rollA lot of problems are solved in FS9 by payware, or even better, freeware add-ons created by generous contributors, however, the ATIS range problem is still there.regards
