Event id 1000

Featured Replies

The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: fs9.exe, 9.1.0.40901, panels.dll, 7.0.9466.0, 0000f0e7.The above ctd has me driven mad....iI have searched for solutions but have found nothing to match the above error.Loads of event id 1000s but none of them have the "panels.dll" after fs9.exe 9.1.0.40901...Can anyone shed any light on the problem...Thank you

There are several things that can cause this issue as I understand it. You could try replacing the panels.dll with the original file from your install disks. That may or may not fix the problem. You'll find it here: CD#2MSGAME3.CABModulesPANELS.DLLIf that doesn't work, do a search (all forums) for panels.dll in the forum. There are a number of threads that may help.Best Regards,Jeff

Thank you for your reply jeff.Since posting this message I have had a few more ctds with completely different error messages,so I have uninstalled fs9 and am in the process of reinstalling.I am going to install my add ons one by one until I hopefully find the culprit...
