CaptainSim 757 Autopilot

Featured Replies

I'm having trouble engaging the autopilot after take-off on the CaptainSim 757. I hit the button to engage autopilot and it flashes in the airspeed LCD then disappears, never engaging. Can anyone help me?

Hi!Have you made sure that you've aligned the IRU's? On the overhead panel (very top left) you should see three white selectors. Whilst the aircraft isn't moving, switch each selector from "OFF" to "NAV" and wait for the "ALIGN" lights to extinguish. Then your Autopilot should function properly.Hope that helps! :-)

Thank-you. It works great now. I found it a little weird because my other payware sims, you don't have to activate IRS to get autopilot to work. BTW good luck with your commercial pilot training. Where did you find that A319 sim, it looks great?

Thanks mate! :-) I must admit, I did get caught out the first time I tried the CS 757 as well! :-lol Normally they're aligned and ready to go...And the A319 in the videos is the freeware Project Airbus model merged with the payware Wilco Airbus Series Volume 1 panel. It's quite a nice little package I find!
