FS9 - Scenery.dat files are cached scenery information. You can safely delete them. Just be sure to not delete any other .DAT file.

Thanks Reggie,I can see now why it was suggested that I delete the scenery.dat file to sort a problem I was having with FlyTampa Dubai Airport scenery. As I didn't understand why I didn't do it :)Best regards,Ken
