March 19, 200323 yr Man, I think I really screwed up here...I did a forum search, but couldn't find anything helpful.I have an "austere" system (Ath 900 etc) and had project AI AA, Delta Express, United AI loaded. The framerates at DFW got horrendous, so I deleted (using remove program function in W98) the project AI programs. Now...zero AI, no default FS2K2 jets, nothing...Is there a config file I may have lost in the process? I have dynamic scenery on, ATC at 100, everything seems turned on, but nobody home...Silence, loneliness, woe is me...any assistance is appreciated. Not having to fight with all that AA traffic on final at DFW is nice, but this is ridiculous!!!!TIADave
March 19, 200323 yr There are some BGL files you can either restore from the original disks or download from Project AI that should restore your default traffic.
March 19, 200323 yr And make sure the default.dp file is still present in your AIRCRAFT folder. If not, get it from the FS2002 CD in FS2002.CAB (works like a zip file).Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
March 19, 200323 yr Thanks for the assist...Seems my little system just isnt up to 46 MD83s, 777s and 757s parked all over the tarmac...I'm replacing the default planes with a handful of Aarvark ones...Thanks again...
March 19, 200323 yr Author Dave,You could also have kept all your AI planes and changed the amount of AI traffic in the optins menu. With your system a setting of 17-50% AI traffic would reduce the amount planes you see.Hope this helpsBob
