FS9 flickering

Featured Replies

I think this has been addressed before, but I've been away from the forum for a long time. FS9 was working just fine, now flickers when it comes up -- virtually can't do anything. Any help appreciated.

Hi mate,I am having these problems at the moment also and it's not happening all the time.First things, first (what brand is the graphics-card)?Have you tried using a tool to ensure that "old" drivers have been successfully removed? (if not give that a go). Also try using the graphic card settings rather that FS9 (make sure "Use Application Settings" isn't selected in your graphic card settings).Let me know how you get on.Regards,Ralf...

Ralf, Thanks for the follow-up. I'm using nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX. I can't find the box for "user Applications", but the short story is that I re-installed FS9, and all working OK. After un-installing I left the folder alone, and fortunately didn't have to re-load all of the add-ons. Greg

Hi Greg,Good to hear that it all went well.Regards,Ralf..
