Temporarily disabling Ultimate Traffic

Recommended Posts

Hi,I've been using and enjoying UT (with the Summer '07 update) for more than a year, and recently purchased and installed UTX too. All this time I have had no significant issues or complaints with them, but now I'd like to try other AI packs, but, if possible, I'd prefer not to uninstall UT/UTX and easily switch back to them if needed.I am wondering whether renaming or moving some traffic .bgl file would suffice to get this done or anything else must be hacked.Any help would be welcome. TIA,JAMM

Simply go to Scenery/World/scenery and rename Traffic.bgl to Traffic.bak. That's all.

Generate the individual flightplans you want. Then go to the compile section of Ultimate Traffic and disable that Airline and compile again. You will now have UT Airlines less the Airline flightplan you selected from another source. Dat's da way I dood it! Worst case: do nothing and have multiple flights of the same Airline. Gives you more than 100% traffic and makes for busy Airports. But you really can't generate more than 100% of the traffic.bgl files in your Scenery/World/Scenery Folder. Ultimate traffic is very flexible this way and FS9 handles more than one traffic.bgl file. I don't know if there's a limit, but I have over 50 right now and am having no problem.Bill :-hah
