Problem w ATC airline name not recognized..HELP!!

Featured Replies

Hi fellow aviators :), I recently installed the very well done B737-200 FFX plane and added some additional ac textures to it. Im pretty familiar w configuring the aircraft config file to recognize the new textures. The textues show up fine, but when I try to communicate w atc..they refer to me as "experimental", eventhough I've used the correct atc airline name as specified in the airlines.config file. Some liveries though, are recognized correctly. Thanks for any help. Yoram

try downloading a program called editvoicepack (you'll also need to DL .net framework from microsoft). It will allow you to check if your callsign is actually defined in FS's voice file, customize callsigns etc.cheers//Mike

I had this exact problem with a Ryanair repaint I downloaded. To fix it open up the aircraft.cfg and go to the [GENERAL] section and add these 2 linesatc_type=Boeingatc_model=B732This will fix the problem and ATC will recognize the plane as a Boeing 737.
