Just figured out that Avast 4.7766 virus scanner for Windows 2003 Server x64 Edition blocks TP. By stopping the several scanner engines it works fine now. TP does some crazy hooking stuff ? It "hooks" into the filesystem and changes file sizes and contents on the fly. No wonder Antivirus software gets confused.
